We respect the privacy of every individual who visits this website and is committed to safeguarding their privacy. We may collect personal data from users that includes your name, email address, phone number and details of how that person was involved in an accident and technical data, such as information about cookies.  We collect such date to establish if you have a viable claim or to communicate with you.  If you do have a viable claim we will retain such date to process your claim and retain your data in accordance with Law Society & GDPR which may be up to six years. Personal data is also generated from technical processes such as contact forms, comments, cookies, analytics, and third-party embeds.  If we do retain your data for the process of a claim we will seek your written consent to so retain same.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Contact forms

We keep contact form submissions for a up to three years for client service purposes, but we do not use the information submitted through them for marketing purposes.

We keep contact form entries for three years and analytics records for a year.

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

If you have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Your data is protected by all staff having GDPR training, secure servers monitored remotely by CCTV and all staff have AccessNI clearance certificates.
